ARGOS System for Tracking Drifters - Track birds in flight. Map ocean currents. Manage fishing fleets. Monitor hazardous cargo in transit.

NOAA Global Drifter Center - The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory operates the global drifter program. The drifters operate just below the sea surface.
